Wood potting bench(What fun!)
This potting bench was sooo much fun to make.I used wood craft sticks and a small piece of a mini wood fence to make the bench and had loads of fun decorating it.I made this bench for a friend that loves to garden & collect frogs and birdhouses.my inspiration was a miniature club members photo
The accessories

The accessories I made are the the potted flowers..the ones on top were arranged from pre made clay flowers the ones on the bottom I made from paper.I also made the plant food,seed pack,potting soil and calender.The dirt in the pot is the insides of a tea bag sprinkled over glue.All these things were fun and real easy to make.

Here is a closer look at he top of the potting bench.Shame on that kitty for making such a mess.She probaly did that chasing those cute little frogs

Here is a smaller bench

This is a smaller potting bench I made.I wanted it to have a weathered french country look.I used pop sticks ,scrap wood and 2 hutch doors on the sides...I think that is what gives it its charm along with the picket style back bords and the little hanging pegs on the front.I wanted something that looked like the homeowner could have made it herself....with an old fence and windows.
